Fitness Log: June 1, 2015

It had to happen sooner or later. Time has slipped by an I have forgotten to update the fitness journal. It’s now mid-June and I completely forgot about getting updates in. Moving to the Black Hills has been an awesome distraction from work and I’ve spent a great deal exploring the area. I am in love with the Black Hills! I did weigh myself on June 1st. I was at 296 lbs, which has been more weight gain than I wanted.

I simply ate comfort food. No excuses. I’m in Spearfish now, things are changing. Spearfish is a very active town from what I see. I see a lot of people in all age groups and physical abilities out and enjoying the outdoors. There’s a nice path that pretty much follows the creek through town and into Spearfish Canyon. I have gotten more exercise in. I do need to eat better.

I feel everything is beginning to settle down, I still am off a bit with the hour change to mountain time. So much changed when I moved out here that I just have to fall into a healthier routine. I did join the rec center here, but it’s overpriced and I don’t know if I’ll continue.

I’m here and getting settled and I’m going to do my best to get on track; work wise and health wise. Life is good and I’m happy!
