Apps for Spiritual Growth. Spiritual apps for my Apple iPod Touch have proven to be just as convenient and helpful as the spiritual audio books on it. I carry my iPod Touch with me just about everywhere I go. Along with music I have games, audio books and apps that reflect my interests. Most of the apps for my iPod are spiritual related. I do have some favorite spiritual apps that I use daily and have found I look forward to their wisdom..
Apps geared toward spiritual awareness and self-development are really helpful in a busy and distracting world where it’s easy to get caught up life and wander off our personal path. Very few people carry books around since the popularity of smart phones and eBook readers. In the middle of a stressful moment or that quick five-minute break after lunch is perfect time refocus and energize yourself with a spiritual app. Even short periods of mindfulness have been shown to help our health and well-being.
Since I began this list of best spiritual mobile apps, I have gotten an Android phone. I’ve added my favorite spiritual Android apps to the list. Here is a list of the spiritual apps I use everyday and recommend:
Apps for Spiritual Growth
Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life Perpetual Calendar – Dr. Wayne Dyer – Oceanhouse Media Wayne Dyer is a spiritual teacher many people discover at some point on their personal path. Wayne Dyer wrote a book interpreting the Tao Te Ching that I very much enjoyed. One of the first apps I added to my iPod Touch was Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life Perpetual Calendar. It’s collection of daily thoughts taken from Dyers book. I really enjoy a daily dose of Tao Te Ching and very relaxing artwork that frames the 81 verses.\
he Four Agreements Cards – Don Miguel Ruiz – Oceanhouse Media I love Don Miguel Ruiz and his books The Four Agreements and The Fifth Agreement. I reviewed The Four Agreements audiobook and the The Four Agreements Cards app really compliments it. It’s a great app for daily inspiration. It’s a great spiritual app to use even if you haven’t read the book. Thoughtful lessons with beautiful artwork.
I discovered Steven Farmer when I researched animal spirit guides. I had an experience that lead me to believe in animal guides and I was fascinated with the thought of having a connection to animals. I’ve learned to pay attention to signs from animal guides and when I sense a message this is the first app I refer to. Great app if you’re interested in animal spirit guides.
